The Consulate General in NYC opened in 2011. In addition to consular services provided to Algerian nationals all over the 44 states covered by its jurisdiction, it supports the Algerian community and associations in the US.

Moreover, the Consulate General facilitates economic, education, and cultural exchanges between the USA and Algeria.
