About

 

Daesup Chung arrived in Philadelphia on 17th of August, 2022 as a consul and principal officer of the Consulate of Republic of Korea.

He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1994 and has served as a diplomat at Embassies in Sweden and Egypt, Consulate Generals in Qingdao, Los Angeles, and Shenyang.

Between his foreign services, he also worked in many departments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Seoul, and served as the Director of Overseas Missions Division.

Mr. Chung is married with one son.
